OIEC with it’s extensive links to colleges and universities around the world has created a number of
teacher training programs. All of the training programs have been written to meet the changing
needs of the world of education and are aimed at both increasing the professionalism, skills and
confidence of teachers as well as the success they have in the classroom with their students.
The training programs are aimed at practical application in the classroom as opposed to being
purely theoretical and teachers after attending the training, can put the principles and ideas learnt
immediately into practice and the students immediately begin to benefit. All of our training programs
have a common theme, that if learning is communicative, participative and enjoyable then students
acquire and maintain knowledge at a much greater pace than traditional teaching strategies and
models.

There has been an increase in the number of “international schools” across Asia and this course has been designed to meet the
needs of both teachers and students who are using a Cambridge or Australian curriculum and assessment methods. Often the
National curriculum of these Asian countries is very different to that in the international schools creating a need for teachers to
change the way they instruct and approach the curriculum.
Please contact OIEC for more details on how we can help your international school become more adept in teaching these
international curricula.
